We are continually accepting applications for our summer season. Our season runs from mid-May through mid-September. We recruit an enthusiastic team of employees, and we offer a bonus incentive to those who complete the season.
We will begin our interview process for the upcoming season in January. We plan to conduct interviews with qualified applicants on selected days in January, February, and March.

EL DORADO GOLD MINE

| Inside Operations Associate |
Function as a customer service representative for visitors to the El Dorado Gold Mine; assist visitors with purchases; weigh gold and assemble lockets; prepare merchandise for sale; assist passengers with gold panning; sell tickets in the train station; assist passengers with boarding the train; and perform other duties related to the operation of the Gift Shop. 40 hours per week plus some overtime required.
Qualifications: Ability to represent the El Dorado Gold Mine in a courteous, professional manner. Strong customer service and mathematical skills preferred. Ability to operate a cash register and credit card machine; balance the till; and make customers feel welcome and appreciated.

| Outside Operations Associate |
Fill pokes with pay dirt and offer them to visitors; demonstrate gold panning techniques and assist visitors with gold panning; assist with preparation and clean-up of panning area; assist passengers with purchases; weigh gold and assemble lockets; sell tickets at the train stations; assist passengers with boarding of the train; and fill in at the Gift Shop or on grounds maintenance as needed. 40 hours per week plus some overtime required.
Qualifications: Ability to represent the El Dorado Gold Mine in a courteous, professional manner; demonstrate panning techniques; operate a cash register and credit card machine; and perform a variety of tasks related to the operation of a gold mine.

| Shuttle Bus Driver |
Following an established route, drive passengers from pickup points in Fairbanks to El Dorado Gold Mine, located in Fox. Two round trips per day. Between trips, direct passenger traffic at the El Dorado train station; assist with greeting and boarding passengers; assist passengers with panning for gold; setup panning shed and assist with cleanup. Four to five 10-hour days per week, with a one-hour lunch break.
Qualifications: CDL with passenger endorsement and air brake endorsement. 21 years or older with good driving record. Friendly disposition and excellent customer service skills.

| ~Wages range between $10.50 and $12.50 per hour, depending on the position, and include a $1.00 per hour bonus paid at the end of the season.
